Cura "Helpful"
Scientia "Knowledge"

At Curascientia, my purpose is embedded right in its name, which stands for “helpful knowledge”. My mission is crystal clear: to enhance the education of workers across the spectrum of hospice, palliative care, and those dedicated to caring for the seriously ill. By fostering these close connections, I can truly understand their unique needs and challenges, tailoring our offerings and insights to serve them best. My purpose extends beyond mere information dissemination; it’s about providing actionable insights into the industry, ensuring that care providers not only elevate their standard of patient care but also adeptly navigate the labyrinth of regulatory protocols. Curascientia envisions a healthcare environment where caregivers are not just clinically adept but are also well-versed with industry dynamics, thereby ensuring the best possible outcomes for both patients and their organizations.

“CMS clearly intends for hospice physicians to be much more involved in the care of patients, In the past it was possible for a small hospice to just employ a doctor to come by once a week and sign papers. Those days are really over. Most physicians will welcome this opportunity to become more involved in improving outcomes.”
